Korea quarantine in the sun

Quick post about my afternoon routine. As I’ve mentioned we’re not allowed to leave our rooms. The monotony can get one down. Part of that is possibly due to a lack of sun.

It turns out my room gets direct sunlight from about 15:30 to about 17:00. There is one spot in the room where I can soak in the rays: the bench by the window.

For 90 minutes or so I prop myself up here and – sans shirt – I work and absorb vitamin D. I do some light exercise in the 15 minutes before that. Bookending the afternoon is the 5 pm meal delivery.

I don’t know if it all helps. I don’t care. I’ll take a placebo any day of the week.
